Papua New Guinea

Having sated my adventure into Africa, I came across these photos of these amazing people of Papua New Guinea. Again the strong, confident faces, bold colors and now feathers and beads.

As I was still in my painting phase, I valiantly tried to capture the textures that the beautiful people adorned themselves with. I also had a great deal of fun creating and painting the frames around each one of them.

This series of paintings was featured at the Devonian Gardens, my first public exhibition.
