Bio

Art has always been my favorite pastime. My first paying gig in the art world was as my high school art teacher’s assistant, setting up classes, mixing glazes and whatever needed prepping. I had always dreamed of attending the Banff School of Fine Arts but life had other plans for me.

During the side trip into becoming a Journeyman Electrician, then morphing into an electrical designer in the oil and gas industry to partnering in creating a software business, I took as many art related courses as I could find in lieu of actually getting into art school.

From those many different modalities, I emerged as a sculptural fiber/mixed media artist, sometimes even managing to weave in my love of quantum physics and astrophysics. I enjoy the artistic challenge my pieces give me as well as the engineering required to make them reality.
